Alessio Liati, sales manager director of Cannon Artes Ingegneria, talks about the commercial importance of Iran for Italian companies on the Italian newspaper LA REPUBBLICA - AFFARI & FINANZA 13/04/15.

We sell almost exclusively abroad, especially in the Middle East, and we have good credentials to return to Iran. We are specialized in industrial water treatment, from hydrocarbons to mining, from steel to food processing, with plants in Bandar Imam Khomeini, Shiraz, Karmanshah. We are in Iran since the 90s, working side by side with italian contractors: it has been difficult to complete orders, and even more difficult to deal with payments (since 2010 Iran has been excluded from the Swift international payment system due to the embargo) . But we are still in contacts with our Iranian partners"

  • The Cannon-Sandretto Plastics Collection Re-opens!


    Re-opening of Sandretto Plastics Collection Museum

    Closed for some time for a substantial restoration, the Cannon – Sandretto Plastics Collection re-opened in Pont Canavese, near Turin, Italy on Sunday, June 7, 2015. Hundreds of antique plastic objects are again displayed in seven refurbished rooms.

  • Vacuum-Assisted Technology: now also for existing plants!


    A new retrofitting kit allows the manufacture of discontinuous insulated panels making use of existing presses and foaming plants.
    Energy-efficient elements of the Cold Chain (refrigerated warehouses, reefer containers, cold rooms, commercial and domestic refrigerators, portable coolers etc.) have proven their effectiveness in reducing the use of energy required to keep our food fresh in its path from “field to table”.

  • CFRP components for BMW Series i3 and i8 produced by Benteler SGL with Cannon equipment


    Benteler SGL selected Cannon as equipment partner for the production of new, innovative Carbon-reinforced parts supplied to BMW for new series of BMW i8 and i3.

  • The modernization of EDF Le Havre power plant is ongoing: BONO ENERGIA’s boilers are on site!


    The EDF project to modernize Le Havre site includes the installation of two BONO ENERGIA auxiliary boilers. On 23 and 24 September, boilers arrived on site and have been placed by a 1250 tonnes crane.
